Patty Sullivan O’Brien ’65 has been retired from her career at the Phoenix Zoo for nearly 15 years now, but she hasn’t stopped chasing her passion for working with animals. Today she has become an essential volunteer for the Southwest Monarch Study, raising monarch butterflies right in her backyard.

2 p.m. Employee Forum – FSPA Lobby – The forum will include summer campus improvement project updates, news from the May 23 Board of Trustees meeting, and an overview of the compensation diagnostic. The forum will be recorded so any employees unable to attend can watch it at their convenience. While some employees do not work 12 months a year, the date of the forum needed to be after the Board of Trustees meeting.
