Viterbo is committed to providing opportunities for students to earn their degrees by transferring credits from all other regionally-accredited institutions. See our undergraduate catalog for more transfer credit policy information.

Credits earned at regionally-accredited institutions in which the student earned a grade of C or higher will transfer to Viterbo.
To fulfill the general education requirement, coursework earned through a completed baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or through an associate of arts or science degree (A.A. or A.S.) at an approved two-year college program, will transfer for credit. General education credits earned at a technical college will only transfer as general education credits to Viterbo University if the credits are a part of a parallel program.

Bachelor Completion Programs

Accounting (BBA)

Viterbo’s accounting degree completion program is an online program that allows students to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration degree following the completion of an associate degree in accounting or the completion of the required accounting prerequisite courses.

Business Leadership (BBA)

Viterbo’s business leadership degree completion program is an online program that allows students to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration degree using previously earned college credit, military credit, or credit for prior learning. Most students enter this program with 30+ prior college credits.

Elementary Education (BS)

Viterbo’s elementary education degree completion program is an online program that provides a pathway to licensure as an elementary educator for those who do not currently hold a bachelor’s degree. Typically students enter this program having earned an associate degree or have 35–65 credits.

Health Care Management (BBA)

Viterbo’s health care management degree completion program is an online program that allows students to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration degree using previously earned college credit, military credit, or credit for prior learning.

Viterbo’s BSN degree completion program is a fully-online program that allows students to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree following the completion of an associate or diploma degree in nursing.
