Get Ready for Student Transition and Registration (STAR)!
STAR is a time to kick-start your experience as a V-Hawk! The Viterbo community is eager to welcome you to campus and help get you ready for the fall!
During STAR, you will:
-
Register for your fall classes with the help of an academic advisor.
-
Take your ID photo.
-
Attend exploratory sessions about student support services and campus engagement opportunities.
-
Learn about academic standards and expectations.
-
Connect with your new classmates.
-
Begin to build confidence and ease anxiety about the transition to college.
-
Introduce your parents/supporters to the Viterbo University community and help them learn about issues that affect you as a student.
As a new incoming first-year student, you are required to attend one of the in-person registration days. Parents/guests are also invited and encouraged to attend with you.
STAR Dates for 2026
Registration Coming! Tentative itineraries for each day run from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Registration Information
In addition to signing up for your STAR date, incoming students must submit mandatory forms and complete any required placement testing before registering for classes. See the links below for additional information.
Unable to attend?
While we would love to have you on campus for STAR, we recognize that many of you are joining the Viterbo family from across the country and may not be able to attend in person.
If you are unable to join us on campus, please sign up for the in absentia option here! By selecting this, you’ll notify your academic advisor that you would like to register for classes via video chat, and they will reach out directly to schedule a time to connect.
To ensure you have everything you need for the fall, we will also send a comprehensive package in the mail covering move-in details, financial aid, and payment information. We can't wait to see you soon!
