Welcome to the Viterbo Community!

Kick off the new academic year at Viterbo Universities Welcome Back Bash! Whether you're new to campus or returning for another great year, this annual event is the perfect opportunity to reconnect, discover new opportunities, and celebrate the start of the semester!

Hosted by Student Life, the Welcome Back Bash brings together local businesses, nonprofit organizations, campus departments, and Student Organizations to help you get involved both on campus as well as throughout the La Crosse community. Explore resources, learn about volunteer and leadership opportunities, meet community partners, and discover ways to make the most of your Viterbo experience!

Stop by anytime between 1–3:30 p.m. to connect with exhibitors, collect giveaways, enjoy free food, and start the year with new connections and fresh opportunities.

Host a Table at the Welcome Back Bash

Be part of one of Viterbo’s favorite back-to-school traditions! The Welcome Back Bash is a great opportunity to connect with students, share information about your organization, and build awareness of the resources, services, and opportunities you provide.

Registration for the 2026 Welcome Back Bash is now open!

To participate, all groups must complete registration by 12:00 p.m. on August 28, 2026. There is no cost for Viterbo clubs, organizations, departments, or local nonprofit organizations to participate. Registration fees for local businesses range from $20–$40.

Reserve your spot, showcase what you have to offer, and help us create an exciting and welcoming start to the 2026–27 academic year!

  • A representative from your business must be present for the entire event. 
  • Advertising or displays that include messages about alcohol, tobacco, or conflicts with Viterbo's Catholic, Franciscan values will not be permitted.
  • Vendors may provide giveaways or host their own raffles at their table at no expense to students. Soliciting of any kind during the event is not permitted.
  • Vendors are encouraged to have an attractive display or some sort of interactive element for students to participate in.   
  • It is recommend to bring a small canopy, awning, or umbrella to help protect on a hopefully sunny day in the courtyard.
  • Participating organizations may submit a raffle prize on the event day for students attending the Welcome Back Bash to help draw attendance and participation.
