The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) at Viterbo University

 

The NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter at Viterbo University was started in 2011. Our local chapter is part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.4 million members.

What do I have to do to become inducted?

Our five-step program takes approximately 12 hours over the course of the semester at your pace. 

Is this recognized on campus?

As of 2021, we had 1,245 members in our chapter and there are more than 1.4 million members nationwide.

Is there a fee? 

There is a flat rate of $95 to officially join NSLS, along with optional add-ons for opportunities such as additional online leadership skill advancement courses.

What is the time commitment?

 

Students have the opportunity to be as involved as they would like. There are many events throughout the school year, such as community service events, social events and meetings spread out over the course of each semester.

What are the perks?

Students have the opportunity to connect with other student leaders in across the college campus community, growing and developing leadership skills, and networking opportunities. Students also have access to many financial opportunities: year-round scholarships, textbook discounts, website recommendations, or job and scholarship recommendation letters.
