Outside Scholarship Applications and Searches

The Financial Aid Office receives several scholarship opportunities from sources outside of Viterbo University. These scholarships have their own criteria and application processes. These are privately funded scholarships.  The scholarships are listed by their deadline date in the top section, use control F on this page to search for some specific criteria listed, and below the list of open scholarships is a list of search engines for additional scholarships.  This page is maintained by the Financial Aid Office.

  • May 1, 2026 (tentative date) GyanDhan Scholarship unknown amount for students in India or to study abroad, college undergraduate or graduate levels in STEM or MBA programs.  

  • May 9, 2026 Hope Starts Here Scholarship $2,500 for students residing in NH who experienced homelessness during the high school education, and be under 21. 

  • May 13, 2026 MKRM Resilient Student Scholarship $1,500 for students from divorced or unmarried families. 

  • May 13, 2026 Kanoski Bresney Stand Up to Distracted Driving $1,000 high school senior, college undergraduate, or graduate students; 3.0 GPA. 
  • May 15, 2026  Aging Matters Scholarship $1,500 Incoming freshman for Fall 2026 or any current student currently caring for an aging loved one, works in a senior care community, or intends to pursue a career impacting the elderly.

  • May 15, 2026 Geneva Fund Scholarship $5,000 annually for four consecutive years.  Teen mother or currently pregnant. 
  • May 31, 2026 GlobalScholarships.com $3,000 International undergrad or graduate students 

  • May 31, 2026 PNC Student Solution Scholarship $10,000 half-time and full-time college undergraduate or graduate students in any program. 

  • May 31, 2026 Against the Grain $1,000 - $5,000 for Asian American high school seniors, college undergraduate and graduate school students.

  • November 3, 2026 Saatchi Diversity Scholarship $10,000  African-American/Black American, Indigenous American, Asian-American/Pacific Islander, or Latino/Hispanic students pursuing degree in art, copywriting, production, editing, illustration, or marketing strategy/analytics. 

  • November 20, 2026 Point Foundation Flagship Scholarship $12,000 renewable for college undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree students who are members of the LGBTQ+ community or ally.

  • April 28, 2025 EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases $5,000 diagnosed by a physician as having any form of rare disease (check back late fall for 2026 updates). 
  • April 30, 2025 ISL Midwest Senior Scholarship $1,500 High school seniors residing in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wisconsin. 
  • April 30, 2025 AISES Scholarships multiple scholarships for American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and First Nations Students students pursuing STEM related degrees.
  • April 30, 2025 AMVETS multiple scholarships for Veterans, active duty, Guard, Reserves, spouses, children, and grandchildren.
