Viterbo Doctorate Student Specializes in Helping Young People

Angela Mensink knows the critical importance of dealing with trauma. She sees it every day at work.

Mensink is an outpatient mental health therapist at Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center in Winona, Minn. She treats clients of all ages, but specializes in helping children, adolescents, and families recover from trauma and traumatic experiences.

Viterbo University to Partner with Overture Center to Host Local Auditions for Rising Stars Competition
Overture Center for the Arts in Madison announced today that the 2019 Rising Stars talent search, completely free for participants, will expand in Wisconsin through partnerships with The Grand Oshkosh, The Grand Theater in Wausau, and Viterbo University Fine Arts Center in La Crosse. Online registration for the statewide program begins Saturday, June 1 at 10 a.m.

Soccer Led Yoshi Kogiso to Viterbo University

Soccer has always been an important part of Yoshi Kogiso’s life. In fact, it’s the reason he chose to attend college in the U.S.

“Having the opportunity to play collegiate soccer was huge for me,” said Kogiso, a native of Cuernavaca, Mexico, who received a scholarship to play at Viterbo University. “Overall, it has been a great experience. Most of my friends are on the soccer team, and I love the U.S.”
