An Army veteran who retired from the military in 2010, Virginia native Sam Morris earned an MBA in healthcare leadership from Viterbo in 2021, just before coming to work for Viterbo as director of military student success.

Philosophy Professor Jason Howard, a native of Windsor, Canada, taught English in South Korea and earned a doctoral degree in Belgium before landing in 2004 at Viterbo, where he has blossomed as an award-winning teacher and prolific scholar.

The annual Viterbo 101 show choir competition will be held at the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Saturday, Jan. 7 beginning at 8:40 a.m.

Dr. Andre Johnson, a renowned speaker, author, and faculty member at the University of Memphis will present the keynote address at the La Crosse Community Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Nathan Janzen, a double major—music performance and finance—was chosen to give the undergraduate commencement address at Viterbo's December 2022 commencement ceremony. That highlight was followed by a second finale: a performance tour of Austria with Viterbo's Concert Choir.

Since earning her Master of Arts in Servant Leadership Degree, Julie Bennett ’12 is leading and living her faith as CEO and executive director of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's Madison operation, overseeing a $16 million budget and 280 employees.

Springtide Research Institute executive director Josh Packard, PhD, will present “The State of Religion and Young People” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Nola Starling Recital Hall.
