Members of Viterbo University’s Pi Phi Chapter are proud to be part of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, a prestigious organization dedicated to advancing nursing excellence, leadership, and scholarship worldwide. Guided by Sigma’s vision, “to create a global community of nurses who lead using scholarship, knowledge, and technology to improve the health of the world’s people,” our chapter is committed to supporting the professional growth of nurses and nursing students at Viterbo University.
Through our work, we promote lifelong learning, leadership development, and evidence-based practice. Our chapter provides educational opportunities for our members on topics that support the nursing profession and the health and well-being of nurses. In addition, members actively participate in fundraising events throughout the year to help support scholarships for undergraduate and graduate nursing students. These efforts allow us to invest in nursing education and fund research that advances knowledge and improves patient care.
