The School of Nursing prepares nurse leaders for professional holistic nursing practice and advancement of nursing knowledge, through the pursuit of wisdom. Faculty create an educational experience that embraces diversity, equity and inclusion within the values of caring, wisdom, integrity, collegiality, and commitment for faithful service and ethical leadership in a global community.

The School of Nursing is home to an outstanding array of nursing education opportunities where students receive high-quality nursing education in premier clinical settings, including Mayo Clinic Health Care System, Gundersen Health Care System, and numerous community-based settings. In these settings, students apply principles and practices of a strong values-based education to serve the common good, which is the hallmark of a Viterbo University graduate.

Clinical Simulation Lab
Viterbo nursing students train in a cutting-edge simulation center designed to mirror real clinical settings. Using advanced technology and true-to-life scenarios, students build hands-on skills in critical care, adult health, maternal/newborn, and pediatric nursing while strengthening clinical judgment, teamwork, and confidence before entering real patient environments.
