Grace Rohde didn’t always love volleyball. She only decided to try the sport because her best friend was going out and it would be a good opportunity to spend some time together.
Ryan DeLong says “luck” led him to his current profession of collegiate volleyball coach. Viterbo University and hundreds of past and present student-athletes have been equally fortunate to have him.

Heidi Lenz’s work on a Master of Arts in Education degree at Viterbo University helped her build leadership skills that came in handy not only in the education arena but also in starting her dream business: an equestrian therapeutic center.
Scott Stene’s journey to Viterbo was anything but typical. Stene grew up in Montana, spending his senior year of high school as an exchange student in Norway. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he served in an expeditionary unit in Germany and traveled the world during four years of service.
