This course provides an oeientation to the field of education; study of historical, philosophical, and social foundations of education; study of legal, political, and economic basis of education; overview of theories of teaching and learning, conflict management, and organization of U.S. PK-12 schools. This course is restricted to students in the professional degree completion program.
