We are very excited to have you living with us at Viterbo University! First-year students are expected to move into their rooms on Aug. 22, 2024 between 8 a.m. and noon. (see the Orientation Schedule for a complete list of orientation events).
Early Move-In Requests
A limited number of early move-in extensions are granted to students who live out of state, fall athletes, and students who are working during residence hall move-in or orientation. To be considered for an early move-in extension, interested students should submit an early arrival request form no later than Aug. 1st.

Local Lodging
Many families prefer to drive to La Crosse the day before move in. If you plan to stay in La Crosse overnight, be sure to make your lodging reservations in advance. These downtown hotels (Holiday Inn, Marriott, and Radisson) are sponsors at Viterbo University, and they also offer university visitors a special rate.
