Residence Life

Over 600 students choose to live on campus each year and claim Viterbo as their "home away from home." Local and national research shows that students who live on campus for at least their first year of college are retained at higher rates, are more involved in co-curricular activities, are more connected to the university community, and graduate faster than students who live off campus. Our mascot, Vic the V-Hawk even has his own Top 10 Reasons to Live on Campus!

Looking Ahead: Fall 2016 Move In

New Student Move In Day is Friday, August 26. Freshmen and transfer students attending V-Hawk Orientation Days can move in starting at 7am!  We can't wait to welcome you to campus!

Returning students can move in on Saturday, August 27 or Sunday, August 28.

While we understand there may be a reason you want to move in prior to your scheduled move in date, please know that there is a very strict policy on Early Arrivals and many requests are not granted. We ask that you read the entire policy prior to submitting a request.

Move in for FREE on Thursday, August 25, by volunteering to help during New Student Move-in! Sign up here.

Watch your mailboxes and Viterbo email for more information this summer!

New Student Housing

We accept housing contracts throughout the year. If you are interested in living on campus Fall 2016, start by filling out the Housing Agreement and paying the housing deposit.

If you are a new freshman student, you will receive a link for RoomSync once you have submitted your contract and deposit. Once you find your roommates for 2016-2017, please fill out the New Freshmen Roommate Request form. Each of your roommates must submit this form.

Housing assignments for new freshman students and new transfer students will be mailed to your home address the first week of July. If you have questions about housing, you can contact Margy Frazier, Assistant Director of Residence Life/Community Coordinator for Residence Halls: or 608-796-3842. She would love to help you with the transition to campus housing!
