Promoting the concept that leadership development is an ongoing process…a lifelong journey.
Classes offered in face to face weekend classes, online or blended, or Summer Institute.
The MASL program is designed for individuals who aspire to be servant leaders in nonprofit organizations, business, government, health care, ministry, and education. By promoting ethical decision making, theological reflection, leadership skills, and public activity, the program supports and affirms people who seriously embrace their vocation to serve in the world and the church. The program meets the unique needs of adult learners with life and professional experience while assuring fulfillment of the expectations related to an accredited program in higher education.
For students who attend full-time, the expected time to graduate with a Master of Servant Leadership degree is two years—six terms. The program runs year round with fall, spring, and summer sessions, and new cohorts starting each fall and spring semester. Because students in the MASL program typically work full-time, it is not uncommon for students to progress at a slower rate to balance the demands of their professional and personal lives.
