Grant Mathu is a lifelong Wisconsinite who has built his life and work in the La Crosse area and is deeply invested in our community. Grant has served as a nonpartisan local elected official since 2020 and has been involved with a variety of local committees, nonprofit boards, and community organizations focused on strengthening quality of life and opportunity across the region.

Grant brings experience from across higher education, including roles in academic advising, residence life, and two years as a school safety coordinator at a Wisconsin technical college, where he worked closely with students, staff, and community partners to support student wellbeing and success. A two-time graduate of UW-La Crosse, Grant is excited to be working in Graduate Admissions at Viterbo, where he enjoys helping prospective students connect with meaningful, high-quality graduate programs that align with their goals.
