Viterbo has received a $1,221,122 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to help establish the university’s Parish Renewal through Communal Wisdom to Enhance Leadership, Strengthen Ministry, and Serve the Common Good (PATHWAYS) program.

Viterbo University and Western Technical College have announced a new articulation agreement that will allow students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science in Legal Studies/Paralegal to transfer up to 61 credits to Viterbo University and earn a Bachelor of Science in Ethics, Culture, and Society (ECAS) in as little as two years.

For Shannon McManimon, program director of Viterbo’s Ethical Leadership Doctorate in Education program, the concepts of transformation and education are inextricably linked. Part of McManimon’s vision for the EdD in ethical leadership program recognizes that there are challenges in the world and that leadership is important to help move through those challenges. She said her hope is that the program would help to teach students how to work toward the common good and how to be more fully human.
