VITERBO UNIVERSITY LEADERSHIP AT NOON SERIES TO FEATURE WKBT GENERAL MANAGER SCOTT CHORSKI AND NEWS DIRECTOR AND STATION MANAGER ANNE PAAPE MARCH 15

LA CROSSE, Wis. – WKBT Channel 8 General Manager Scott Chorski and News Director and Station Manager Anne Paape will conclude the Viterbo University Leadership at Noon series for the academic year with their presentation Tuesday, March 15 in the Reinhart Center room 107.

Chorski has served as general manager of local CBS station WKBT for the past 15 years. He earned degrees in communication and education from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. He serves on the Executive Committee of Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, is a member of La Crosse Downtown Rotary Club, and serves on the Salvation Army Development Committee.

Paape has been at WKBT for 25 years and leads the team of News 8 journalists responsible for producing 22 hours of live local news programming each week, the News8000.com website, and multiple social media accounts. Their work has earned them the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association News Operation of the Year Award for the past six years. In October, the station was honored with the prestigious national Edward R. Murrow award for the News 8 documentary Tears to Water.

The Viterbo Leadership at Noon series features business leaders discussing the key values that contribute to successful business practices.

All Leadership at Noon series events are held from noon–1 p.m. in the Reinhart Center and are free and open to the public. Audience members are welcome to bring their own lunch or purchase a boxed lunch for $5. The Leadership at Noon series is sponsored by the D.B.
