Join us on Wednesday, April 22, from 5—6:30 p.m. in the Robers Room (M136) for an Iris Folding Workshop taught by Jayne Coster.
Iris folding is a papercraft technique where strips of colored, folded paper are layered in a precise, spiraling pattern under an open shape such as the butterfly in this image. The final design creates a 3D effect that radiates from the center, closely resembling the shutter of a camera lens or the petals of an iris flower. Watch this quick YouTube video to see how it's done: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/22k9iGuyOYk.
Space is limited so sign up early by e-mailing Mary Rieder at mbrieder@viterbo.edu.
