Wealth Management Online Certificate

Viterbo University’s Center for Professional Learning offers world-class custom professional development experiences. This foundational certificate is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the field of wealth management.
This certificate will:
- allow individuals to understand the role of the wealth manager, the services that are provided, and why customers would want these services.
- provide a better understanding of the compliance and legal framework firms in this industry operate under and how that affects the practice of wealth management.
- assess how reputation is lost and acquired in the industry and how professional ethics play an important role in fostering and preserving firm reputational capital.
Who should attend?
Individuals who work in the wealth management industry and want to increase their knowledge and skills.
Logistics
This certificate program is comprised of three modules, two weeks each, comprised of 18 hours of learning. The time commitment for program completion is 2–3 hours per week. Each module will include lecture/learning videos, articles, discussion forums, and various assessment tools. Viterbo's online learning platform, Moodle, will be utilized for all modules of this certificate.

Program Fee
The total cost for the certificate program is $1499 which includes online access to Viterbo's online learning platform, Moodle, as well as all course materials.

Facilitator Bio
John Robinson, PhD, Associate Professor, Accounting and Finance
John Robinson is an associate professor of accounting and finance at Viterbo University in the College of Business, Leadership, and Ethics. Robinson also serves as the program chair for Viterbo's accounting and finance departments within the college. In Robinson's spare time, he is a finance academic and consultant specializing in corporation finance. Robinson's academic work has been published in Managerial Finance and his papers have been accepted to the MBAA International Conference in both finance and law, exploring many topics including health care governance and stakeholder engagement. Robinson has served or is currently serving as treasurer for several area non-profit organizations and is the proud father of eight children.
