The second of two required first-year composition courses in the core curriculum, ENGL 104 builds on the skills established in ENGL 103. Students focus on reading a variety of texts, writing arguments, and incorporating research. They are also introduced to the fundamentals of multimodal composition, which culminates in a final project of their choosing. Prerequisite to all other English classes.
