Notice of nondiscrimination
The university does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of sex in any education program or activity that the university operates. Title IX’s mandate not to discriminate on the basis of sex extends to students, employees, and other persons in all aspects of the university’s programs, activities, and operations. Inquiries regarding how Title IX applies to the university may be referred to the university Title IX coordinator, to the assistant secretary at the U.S. Department of Education, or to both.
Viterbo University encourages any student or employee who has concerns about discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, or pregnancy discrimination to seek the assistance from the Title IX coordinator.
Policy and Procedures
- Title IX Prohibition and Sexual Harassment Policy: This policy addresses how to report sexual harassment or file a formal complaint of sexual harassment, and how the university will respond.
- Nondiscrimination Policy and Grievance Procedure: This policy and grievance procedure applies to all complaints of discrimination based on a protected class, including sex and gender-based discrimination other than complaints of sexual harassment under Title IX.
