Dual Degree Program Between Viterbo University and Logan University, Doctor of Chiropractic
Viterbo University is proud to partner with Logan University to offer students intending to matriculate at Logan and achieve a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), special terms of admission through Logan 3+3 Articulation Agreement and special criteria for awarding the baccalaureate degree in biology to participating students.
Dual Degree Program Doctor of Chiropractic (3+3)
The 3+3 program allows students to obtain a bachelor of science (BS) degree in biology from Viterbo and a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from Logan University in less time than would be required if students separately applied to both programs. This is accomplished through “reverse transfer” of Logan University coursework to fulfill some requirements for the BS degree at Viterbo.
General requirements for 3+3 program and early admission
- Major in biology
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all courses taken at Viterbo
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on all required coursework in the 3+3 program
- Successful interview with Logan admissions personnel while enrolled at Viterbo
- Satisfy all remaining requirements outlined by the Viterbo pre-health committee and Logan University admissions
About Chiropractic medicine

A Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) is an alternative medicine health professional who gives particular attention to the relationship of the structural and neurological aspects of the body in health and disease. Chiropractic treatment includes spinal adjusting, manipulation, physical modalities, and rehabilitation. It is possible for students to enter many chiropractic programs after 90 credit hours of pre-professional education, though about 65% of students entering chiropractic schools have bachelor’s degrees. Many states require students to have a bachelor’s degree to practice. The Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC) provides information on application requirements, descriptions of careers in chiropractic, and programs in North America. Viterbo University has an articulation agreement with Logan College of Chiropractic and Palmer College of Chiropractic that allows you to enter those schools after 3 years at Viterbo. After successful completion of your first year, Viterbo will transfer in your credits and you will be granted an undergraduate degree from Viterbo.
