Credit for Prior Learning (CPL)

Credit for Prior Learning Form - Use this form to apply for specific CPL credits

See the Undergraduate Catalog or Graduate Catalog for additional information on credit for prior learning (under Alternative Credit).

Retroactive Language Credit

Additional credit for previous elementary and intermediate Spanish courses may be awarded. See the department chairperson or the Undergraduate Catalog for more information.

Dual Credit

Evaluation of dual credits will be completed once a college transcript is sent to Viterbo.

Note: a student may earn credit for an equivalent Viterbo University course only once, regardless of the number of exams taken or scores achieved, i.e.; a student cannot earn ENGL-104 credit for both the AP Literature exam and for the A-1 Higher Level International Baccalaureate exam.

These lists are subject to change and credit is awarded based on current policy.
