Due to severe winter weather conditions affecting our region, Viterbo University will close campus on Monday, March 16 to prioritize the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Below is important information regarding operations for the day.
Students
No in-person classes will be held. Faculty will communicate with students regarding remote learning activities or assignments for the day.
Student Teaching, Internships, and Clinical Experiences
Students should communicate directly with their supervising school, organization, or clinical site as needed.
University Events and Activities
All university events and activities scheduled for Monday, March 16 are cancelled.
Student Facilities
Residence halls, the dining hall, and the Mathy Center will remain open for students.
Hours may be adjusted and will be posted as needed.
Campus Buildings, Offices, and Support Services
Campus buildings, offices, and support services will be closed, with the exception of student facilities listed above.
Employees
Employees designated as Essential Support Service Personnel, as identified by Cabinet and supervisors, should report to work as directed.
All other employees should not report to campus but will be paid for their scheduled hours. Remote work is encouraged where possible.
