About
Christine joined the Counseling Services team in 2025. Prior to that, she studied psychology at UWL and received her master's degree in mental health counseling here at Viterbo University. She then worked in an outpatient setting in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Christine is excited to be back at Viterbo and to support students throughout their college experience.
Christine’s therapeutic style is warm, affirming, and collaborative. She strives to bring curiosity, humor, and empathy into each session while creating a space where students feel comfortable exploring what may be holding them back and discovering meaningful paths toward change. She has received additional training in therapeutic approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Christine lives with her husband in La Crosse. Outside of the therapy office, she enjoys staying active through workouts and hiking, getting cozy with a good book or her Nintendo switch, and taking scenic drives and road trips to explore new places. She also enjoys drawing whenever she finds time to slow down and create.
