Program Overview

Study Abroad London 2024

The theatre and musical theatre department engages students with a study abroad trip to London every other year during winter break. This trip immerses students in theatre in several ways. They include seeing 8-12 shows, touring theatres, participating in workshops, and backstage tours.  Additionally, students have free time to explore London’s many amazing cultural and artistic offerings.

Travel Dates
Dec. 29 (ish), 2026–Jan. 10 (ish), 2027. This is the next scheduled trip, and it takes place every two years.

  • THTR 443: Theatre in the City
  • 1 credit
  • Restricted to theatre and musical theatre majors, and theatre, dance, playwriting, stage management, technical theatre and design, and arts administration minors
