Viterbo’s popular Platinum Edition show choir and special guests will present an evening of great singing and dancing as they present 125 Years of Song at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Tickets on Sale Now for Captain Richard Phillips Presentation Sept. 9

Merchant Marine Captain Richard Phillips, who was held hostage by Somali pirates for five days in 2009 and was the subject of the movie Captain Phillips, starring Tom Hanks, will speak at Viterbo at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

United Way Campaign Kick-Off

Sheila Severson, Dorothy Lenard, Polly Scott, Sonya Ganther, Vic V-Hawk (Chad Gilbeck), Crystal Lillge, Denise Lorenz, Marci Kuhrt, and Stephanie Thorson-Olesen gathered for a photo at the United Way Campaign Hospitality Committee Tailgate Lunch Oct. 2 in the Reinhart Center Board Room. All are members of the United Way or Hospitality Committee.


Lessons on Leadership

Captain Richard Phillips opened the 2014–15 D.B. Reinhart for Ethics in Leadership’s fall lecture series with his presentation “Steering Your Ship through Troubled Waters: Lessons on Leadership” in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre Sept. 9. An audience of nearly 800 attended the event.

Viterbo students and employees enjoyed pizza courtesy of alumnus Tony Becker ’13 Oct. 10. Becker, the owner of Stumpy’s Concessions, made 32 pizzas, which met with rave reviews. He made 28 free pizzas for Place of Grace the evening before. The 60 pizzas were the remaining inventory for the business following fair and festival season.
