The Viterbo community is invited to attend the “Suicide, Cyberbullying, and Social Media” Lunch and Learn presented by University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire faculty member and author Jennifer Muehlenkamp from 10:30 a.m.–noon Friday, Dec. 4 in the Reinhart Center Board Room. Lunch will follow the presentation.
The Viterbo women’s golf team is once again selling their red coupon book, which contains over 165 coupons for local restaurants, golf, beauty, car services, and entertainment. Cost is $13. Books are available for purchase in Laura Lee’s office in the Varsity Athletics Center.
A bus load of 22 Viterbo students recently made the cross-state drive to Appleton’s Fox Cities Stadium, home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The team is a Milwaukee Brewers affiliate team and follows a long tradition of minor league baseball excellence in Appleton.
Sue Hauser, administrative assistant for the College of Arts and Letters, retired Nov. 20 after more than 36 years at Viterbo. She is pictured with a quilt signed by friends, colleagues, and students that was presented to her at a reception on her last day at the university.
Viterbo employees and their families are invited to attend the annual Alumni Children’s Christmas Party from 10 a.m.–noon Saturday, Dec. 5 in the Fine Arts Center Lobby.
The event will include Christmas carols, crafts, face painting, and a visit from Santa Claus. It is sponsored by the Viterbo Alumni Association.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time sicne 2012, the Viterbo University women's soccer team is headed back to the NAIA National Tournament. The National Championship Qualifiers and opening round pairings were released Monday morning and the V-Hawks found out they will head to No. 11 Baker University on Saturday.
