Board of Trustees Actions
Actions taken by the Board of Trustees at its meeting Oct. 12:
A speed mock interview event will be held from 5:30–8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 in the Fine Arts Center Lobby. The event, which is coordinated by career services and the alumni office, will feature alumni and local human resource professionals who have volunteered to facilitate interview questions for students in a speed format.
Join the members of the Hospitality Committee in pausing for a break in the semester from 2:30–3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 in Assisi Courtyard.
Pumpkin bars, Kit Kat candy bars, and apple cider will be served. Enjoy Frisbee, kickball, and other recess games.
Pinwheels bearing messages of support were placed near Brophy Center to mark Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Viterbo will continue to increase the number of paid internship opportunities offered to students thanks to a $441,758 Career Ready Internship Grant from the Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation.
Fashion Cornucopia, a style show and gourmet meal fundraiser to benefit the Women’s Clothes Closet is Saturday, Nov. 7 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at 612 Division Street in La Crosse.
Catholic speaker Matt Fradd will present “The Love that Satisfies” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Students check out their free Bird Herd T-shirts courtesty of the Student Government Assocation. The shirts were distributed to students Oct. 15 to encourage school spirit and pride, especially at athletics events.
