Faculty Focus: Q&A with Erin Jerozal

Erin Jerozal is an assistant professor in the Theatre and Music Theatre Department, as well as the current Department Chair. Before starting at Viterbo in 2018, Jerozal lived in New York City, making her living as an actor, educator, and director for almost 20 years.

Veteran Broadway performer Arbender Robinson ’98 came to Viterbo because of an unlucky accident (an injury) that in the end turned out to be lucky. Without the life lessons he learned at Viterbo, Robinson said he would not have had the kind of successful career he’s had … and is still having.

An arts administration and music theatre double major, Giese toured the world for five years as a cruise ship singer and regularly performs in the “Sweet Dreams and Honky Tonks” touring revue. Since 2013, she also has served as executive director of River Arts Inc. in Prairie du Sac.

Viterbo Out-of-Our-Minds Chamber Music Series to Celebrate Musical Mentors
Viterbo University faculty member Mary Ellen Haupert and several other accomplished musicians from the La Crosse area will perform the music of Dvořák and Brahms to open the 2021–22 Out-of-Our-Minds Chamber Series at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 in the Viterbo Fine Arts Center Nola Starling Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
