Famous 12-year-old crochet prodigy Jonah Larson of La Crosse will share his story as part of the Leadership at Noon Series at Viterbo University Tuesday, Oct. 27 on Facebook Live.

The art of Viterbo students Linzey Stenson and Angelie Tuch-Sanchez will be on display in the Viterbo University Gallery from Thursday, Oct. 15–Wednesday, Nov 4.

Viterbo University honored eight graduates Friday, Oct. 9, at its annual Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony, an online event part of the annual Viterbo Days alumni weekend. Those honored included Malinda Gerke, FSPA '60, Colleen Walsh '63, Samantha Pauly '12, Julianne Brienza '99, Amanda Vetsch '17, Naomi (Hemesath) Harm '99, Angela Mensink '12, and Lisa Skemp '77.

"The Trouble with My Name," a performance by professor, author, and actor Javier Ávila will be broadcast via Zoom at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12 for both the Viterbo University and La Crosse communities in celebration of the Hispanic Heritage Month 2020.

Mary Ann Gschwind, FSPA, will present “The Story of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration” at noon Tuesday, Oct. 6 on Facebook Live. The presentation is sponsored by the D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership and will be part of Viterbo University’s St. Francis Week and the Mayo Clinic Health System’s annual Heritage Days celebration.

Students will be able to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences and a Master of Science in Community Medical Dietetics degree and become a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) in just five years through the new accelerated 4+1 program at Viterbo University.
