VITERBO UNIVERSITY LEADERSHIP AT NOON SERIES TO CONTINUE WITH TRUST POINT INC. PRESIDENT AND CEO KENT HANDEL MARCH 5

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Kent Handel, president and CEO of Trust Point Inc., will speak as part of the Viterbo University Leadership at Noon series Tuesday, March 5 in Reinhart Center 107.

Founded in 1913 as the La Crosse Trust Company, Trust Point is Wisconsin’s oldest independent trust company, providing trust and investment management services for clients across the country. Trust Point manages more than $4.5 billion in assets from its La Crosse headquarters and full-service branches in Eau Claire and Minneapolis.

As president and CEO, a position he has held since 2001, Handel oversees all departments at Trust Point including investments, personal trust services, retirement plan services, sales, marketing, and operations. He encourages community involvement and philanthropy, which have long been ingrained in the corporate culture at Trust Point. 

Handel has more than 37 years of experience in the financial industry.

He is a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, the National Trust Graduate School at Northwestern University, the National Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, and the National Investment School at the University of Oklahoma.

Handel has served with numerous local civic organizations, including chair of the Riverfront Board, treasurer of the Riverland Girl Scouts and the La Crosse County Historical Society Board, and president of the La Crosse Club. He served as president of the Viterbo University Board of Trustees from 2012–18, and remains an active member.

All Leadership at Noon series events are held from noon–1 p.m. in the Reinhart Center and are free and open to the public. Audience members are welcome to bring their own lunch or purchase a boxed lunch for $5. The Leadership at Noon series is sponsored by the D.B.
