LA CROSSE, Wis. – Relive hits If You Want to get to Heaven, Jackie Blue, and other classic songs as The Ozark Mountain Daredevils perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

A quintessential American rock band renowned for their fusion of country, rock, and folk, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils have left an indelible mark on music history. Emerging in the early 1972, this Missouri-based group epitomized the era's burgeoning Southern rock movement, crafting a unique sound that echoed the spirit of the Ozarks. Their self-titled debut album in 1973 catapulted them into the limelight, showcasing their musical prowess and distinctive harmonies.

Beyond their musical impact, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils’ legacy includes their ability to preserve the essence of rural America in their lyrics, evoking landscapes and tales of everyday life in the heartland. Their songs often painted vivid portraits of simple joys, struggles, and the beauty of nature, resonating deeply with listeners across the country.

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils have released 16 albums and sold more than three million records, proof of their enduring commitment to their craft. This performance is part of the band’s When it Shines: The Final Tour.

Tickets are $59 for main floor, $49 for lower balcony, and $39 for upper balcony seating, plus a $3 convenience fee and $1 facility fee per ticket. All orders will include a 5.5% sales tax.
