Congratulations to Viterbo University alumna Jordenne Butler ’20 of Onalaska, who was crowned Miss Wisconsin June 20.

Butler was one of 32 contestants who competed in the Miss Wisconsin pageant in New Berlin. In addition to the title of Miss Wisconsin, she earned more than $17,000 in scholarships. Butler will now represent Wisconsin in the Miss America pageant in West Palm Beach, Florida the first week in September.

It was an outstanding overall performance for Butler, who won preliminary talent (a jazz dance to That’s Life), evening gown, and health and fitness award honors. Her community service initiative is Building Resilience for Healthy Futures, which seeks to empower children facing adversity and guide them to brighter and healthier futures.

Butler, who was also Miss Wisconsin’s Teen in 2015, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Viterbo University. She was also a member of Viterbo’s dance team.
