LA CROSSE, Wis. – The public is invited to enjoy an evening of music, food, trivia, and networking as Viterbo University hosts a free Black History Month Community Celebration Wednesday, Feb. 25 in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby.
The event begins at 4 p.m. with soul food by Mia’s Kitchen and music by the Mayfield Experience followed by team trivia with prizes at 5:30 p.m.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate in support of the Hmong Cultural and Community Center Rice Drive for elders in their community.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity to network, learn, and celebrate together,” said Melissa Giefer, international and ESL programs specialist at Viterbo University. “Bring your friends and family for a memorable evening filled with great food, inspiring music, and community spirit.
