Viterbo University stands ready to help all students succeed.

The latest update on the situation at Viterbo can be found in the Viterbo Communications page along with a collection of previous messages to students. 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are monitoring the situation and posting updates and prevention tips on their websites.

Viterbo University is working closely with the county health department, and we will continue to  inform members of our community as the situation evolves.

    Symptoms of COVID-19 can include fever, aches, cough, and shortness of breath. In extreme cases, the infection can lead to serious illness and death, especially in people with underlying health issues and senior citizens.

    It is critical that all Viterbo University students, faculty, administrators, and staff continue to practice general viral infection prevention measures including:

    • Washing hands often for at least 20 seconds with soap and hot water, or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
    • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or sleeve of your shirt
    • Avoid touching your face
    • Avoid contact with people who are sick
    • Stay home when you are sick
    • Clean surfaces often
    • Get your flu shot
