Administrative Quality Review

Viterbo University is committed to continuous evaluation of its administrative, support service, and operational areas toward mission fulfillment and institutional effectiveness. A best practice in higher education, Administrative Quality Review (AQR) also demonstrates how Viterbo engages in systematic and integrated planning and improvement.

The ongoing review of administrative units falls under the oversight of the Institutional Effectiveness Council. The goals of the AQR process include to:

  • Ensure that Viterbo provide students with quality educational programs and services.
  • Inform institutional decisions about priorities, planning, and resources.
  • Highlight the alignment of each unit with the university’s mission.
  • Assure quality and improvement using broad, consistent criteria.
  • Enable units to identify strengths and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide units with formative feedback from peers.
  • Empower units to guide the quality of their services, functions, and operations.
