MBA/DNP Dual Degree

Registered nurses with a BSN or MSN degree can prepare for leadership roles, educate future nurses, and influence systems of care with Viterbo University's MBA/DNP program. This integrated dual degree program provides registered nurses a direct path to their career goals with critical business and management skills needed by successful health care leaders. Students save time and money by completing this integrated program.

With Viterbo's MBA/DNP dual degree, students:
  • complete all the requirements in four years or less.
  • choose from flexible format options (online and blended courses) designed for working professionals.
  • position themselves as leaders and systems thinkers.
Program Format

The DNP/MBA dual degree program is offered in a blended format, with some coursework conducted face-to-face and most online, designed to accommodate working professionals' busy lives. A typical program completion timeline is three or four years, but students may choose to accelerate to three years or extend to accommodate their needs.

Cost

Graduate tuition is charged at a per-credit-hour rate plus a $10 per credit resource fee (additional course fees apply to NURS 800 and 825 courses). Though the number of required practicum hours may vary depending on the applicant's academic background, the post-master's DNP/MBA dual degree program requires a minimum of 49 credits, and the post-BSN DNP/MBA program requires 62 credits. All of Viterbo's master's and doctoral programs are eligible for federal financial aid.
