Applying for Financial Aid at Viterbo 2018–19

Apply for Financial Aid for fall 2018/spring 2019

  • 2018-2019 FAFSA

    • Online at www.FAFSA.gov, on or before February 1, 2018
    • FAFSA must be filed by February 1 to receive priority consideration and meet Viterbo’s priority date.  Applications will be accepted after February 1 but aid could be limited. Failure to provide other information within 30 days of the first request for the information could also result in less aid.

    • If you have already submitted a 2018-19 FAFSA, please continue to read below for more important information.

  • ESTIMATED award notices will be mailed to first time undergraduate freshmen and transfer students who are accepted for Fall 2018 Admission AND have a valid FAFSA result on file with Viterbo. OFFICIAL electronic award letter notices will follow, starting March 2018, to student's Viterbo email account.

Communication from The Financial Aid Office

  • Emails are sent exclusively to the student’s Viterbo email account.
  • During regular Viterbo enrollment periods between August and May, mail is sent to a student’s local or campus address as maintained by the Registrar’s Office.  For students not yet enrolled at Viterbo, mail is sent to an address the student provided to the Admission Office.
  • A student should check his or her mailbox and Viterbo email routinely.  If a student lives in Viterbo housing, mail is sent to the residential-complex mailbox when classes are in session.  During vacation periods, including all semester breaks and the summer months, student mail is sent to the home/preferred address that the student has provided to the Registrar’s Office.  Students are advised to keep their mailing information current at all times.
