Student Fellows

Abbey Fedie

Abbey is from Mondovi, WI. She is a senior at Viterbo and is majoring in nursing. This will be her third year as a student fellow. She loves to travel, fish, hunt, hang out with friends, and try new things. Her favorite season is fall and enjoys being outside any chance she can get!

Gwen Schroeder

Gwen lives in LaCrescent with her husband of 26 years and has two adult kids. She is a CPA and enjoys running with friends, reading, cooking and baking, and being outside as much as possible. She is also in the MASL program, which she loves and finds personally challenging. She is excited for a chance to be a bigger part of the Viterbo community! This will be her second year as a student fellow!

Alyamr Ismaili

Alyamr is a sophomore at Viterbo and is majoring in Computer Science. This is his first year as a student fellow. He has a passion for exploration, whether that be through hiking on a trail not yet explored or through giving a chance to a music genre he hasn't heard before. He's excited to make an impact at Viterbo this year!

Kelcie Karweick

Kelcie is a sophomore business major with a marketing minor from Seymour, Wisconsin. She is on the women's soccer team here at Viterbo and have enjoyed playing since a young age. She also loves working out and staying active, along with enjoying the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. In the summer, you can find her up north at her cottage on a lake where she enjoys enjoying all the different water sports, jet skiing, boating, and more. This is Kelcie's first year as a student fellow!

Noah Nelson

Noah Nelson is a senior Sports Management and Leadership Major at Viterbo and is starting his first year as a student fellow in Fall 2023. He has an English Writing Minor and enjoys using those skills to write creatively or journalistically. Noah demonstrates his passion for sports by competing on the university's golf team.

Emma Wagner

Emma Wagner is a senior Business Administration major at Viterbo and a captain of the Women's Basketball team. This is her first year as a student fellow, and she also interns for the Center for Professional Learning. She loves to spend time with friends and family, especially while playing board games and watching movies. During her fellowship, Emma is most looking forward to connecting with the inspiring folks the Ethics Institute brings to campus!

Terresa Bubbers

Terresa lives in La Crescent, MN with her husband of 25 years, they have two children in college. She is currently an assistant professor at Viterbo in the Dahl School of Business and an owner of a golf course. Prior to this she worked in health care for over 20 years. Terresa enjoys hiking and golfing, reading, watching sports, and cooking recipes from different cuisines. She is looking forward to continuing her work on servant leadership and coaching.

David lives in La Crosse with his spouse and kids who are 10 and 12 years old. He has been a psychology faculty member at Viterbo since 2011. He is interested in research that examines why it is necessary to foster belonging for all groups of people and how we might do that to create healthy and thriving diverse communities. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, running, and trying new cuisines.
