Academic Advising

Academic advising is an integral part of each student's academic program. All students are assigned to a faculty advisor within their program of study and new students also have an academic advisor. The goal of all academic advising is to assist students in taking responsibility for developing meaningful educational plans that are reflective of their potential and their career and life goals. Advisors confer with students about course schedules and educational experiences, but students themselves are responsible for selecting the content of their academic program and making progress toward an academic degree.

The University’s advising is run through the Hub for Student Support.
