Alexis Oestreich
Alexis is majoring in Psychology and has minors in Criminal Justice and Substance Abuse Counseling. Alexis is a senior this year and this is her third year as a mentor! When asked about why Peer Mentors are important, she says, “TRIO provides peer mentors to help first-years make a smooth and comfortable transition into college life. Mentors are there to provide support, camaraderie, academic resources, and friendship. It’s beneficial to know that you always have someone who is standing by your side, even if you don’t always need them.”
