International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Religion, faith, and spirituality are important in how individuals perceive themselves and engage in the world around them. Rarely do we reflect on our own spirituality in relation to other faith backgrounds, ask questions, and debunk myths and stereotypes about our faith practices. In this Identities Project civil dialogue, we will have a panel of individuals representing a variety of faith and spirituality backgrounds and we will discuss our own practices, ask mindful questions of one another, and work to create space for an inclusive interfaith campus community.

Gabby is a full-time travel influencer of @packslight, who got her start by studying abroad her junior year of college. The odds were stacked against her: BIPOC, about to graduate, and with a STEM degree. Yet she enjoyed an entire year studying abroad in Dubai, UAE (completely paid with scholarships too!). She's here to answer all of your questions and show you that YOU can study abroad, too!
Viterbo students who register and attend this session will be entered to win Gabby-approved travel gear!
Follow the clues on a trip around campus to learn more about the home countries of our current international students! Fill up your passport and bring it to Murphy 337 by the end of the week to be entered into a drawing for a Fanny Pack Fun Pack of prizes!
