Show Programs
Digital Programs

Patrons have the opportunity to view show programs, which has information about the performance, on the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center (FAC) website about a week prior to the scheduled performance. Patrons who allow us to email them will receive a link to the show program about 24 hours prior to the production they are attending. We encourage patrons to view the show program before the performance begins, at intermission, or after.

The FAC transitioned to digital programs in January 2022, making it a pioneer in the Coulee Region. Digital show programs are now becoming more widely adopted in the performing arts industry.

Accessing Show Programs at the Theatre

When your ticket is scanned at the theatre, you will receive an info card that has a QR code and instructions. When the QR code is scanned by the camera of a mobile device, it will take you directly to the program.

Here's a short video that demonstrates the QR code access process.

Digital Programs–FAQs

Why did you transition to digital programs?
We initially moved our show programs to a digital platform in January 2022 to lessen touch points while attending a performance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, this allowed us to live our core value of stewardship while being environmentally responsible and implementing sustainable business practices. Digital programs are a fairly recent innovation in the performing arts industry and are becoming widely adopted.

How does this change benefit patrons?

Programs are mobile-friendly, in full-color with interactive elements and a menu that allows you to jump to sections of interest. Programs will be available sooner (a week before each performance), the season can be archived on our website, and dark and light mode is an available feature.

Are you going to return to print programs?
While there still may be special instances of print programs, the Fine Arts Center is committed to bringing this innovative digital platform to our patrons, as it aligns with current industry practices and aligns with our core value of stewardship as it relates to environmental and sustainable business practices.

How will I receive the show program?
After your ticket is scanned at the theatre entrance, you will receive a small card that has a QR code and instructions. When the QR code is scanned by the camera of a mobile device, it will take you directly to the program. Patrons who allow us to email them will also receive an email about 24 hours before the production with a link to the show program.

Are people going to use mobile devices during shows?
We encourage patrons to view programs before the start of the performance, at intermission, and when the performance concludes. Additionally, there is a dark mode button to tap at the top of the screen to limit luminescence from devices.

What if I don’t have a mobile device?
Digital programs will be available on the Viterbo Fine Arts Center’s website a week before each performance. The program will also be archived on our website.
