I have always had a passion for learning about the brain and neurodevelopment. The biopsychology major provided a balance between the neurochemistry of the brain and learning about human behavior. This knowledge has proven especially helpful as I pursue a career as a licensed professional counselor. The biopsychology major helped prepare me for my master’s program by expanding my understanding of the neurobiology behind human behavior, which has ultimately helped me better understand the people I serve.

Viterbo was the perfect school for me because of its size, opportunities, and atmosphere. The small class sizes made it possible for professors to know the students and created an environment that allowed me to become the teacher that I am. I have continued my educational journey through the Masters of Education program at Viterbo and would recommend it to anyone entering the teaching profession.”

I have to say it was such a smooth transition back into college. I was not sure what I wanted to do, but I knew I wanted to pursue a college degree. Once I was there, I learned about the organizational management program and I was hooked. Every step of the way was seamless. My adviser has been nothing but amazing and helpful. Deciding to go back to college at Viterbo has been the best choice of my adult career.”
