WESTERN TECHNICAL COLLEGE, VITERBO UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCE NEW TRANSFER AGREEMENT

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Officials at Western Technical College and Viterbo University have formally announced a new transfer agreement for healthcare students beginning in the fall of 2020.

The new agreement will allow Western students who complete the Respiratory Therapist, Surgical Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Medical Laboratory Technician, or Occupational Therapy Assistant programs to transfer directly into Viterbo’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Healthcare Management program. These students will enter Viterbo as juniors and can complete the program in four semesters.

“This is such a fantastic opportunity for our healthcare students,” said Western President Roger Stanford. “We have a great partnership with Viterbo, and now, more than ever, our institutions need to develop healthcare professionals for our region. This is a great cost-effective option for our students, and we could not be more excited for them to continue their education at Viterbo.”

“This is another on a long list of outstanding program agreements we share with one of our key community partners, Western Technical College,” said Viterbo University President Glena Temple. “It presents an excellent value for students and will help fill the growing personnel needs in the field health care.”
