Coming up:

Students: Visit the library from 5–8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, for some hot chocolate to warm up for exam studying. Covered cups will be provided so that students can bring their drink into the library.

Viterbo Coupon Books, a fundraiser for the women’s’ golf program, can be purchased in the athletics office or be delivered on campus by contacting Coach Barrett at kjbarrett@viterbo.edu. These make a great Christmas gift or stocking stuffer.

The Fine Arts Center is in need of usher volunteers for The Nutcracker Ballet this weekend. Shifts can be as short as one hour or up to three hours if volunteers stay the entire performance. Shift start times are as follows: Friday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. Those interested or looking for more information should email Andy Naumann at aanauman@viterbo.edu or call 608-796-3749.

Join the Student Theatre Project Saturday, Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. for their first ever project with proceeds being donated to Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids: the Never Will I Ever Cabaret. A New Year’s Eve Gala to benefit the “Save Our Steinways” fund at Viterbo University will be held from 8:30 p.m.–12:15 a.m. at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts. More information on this event can be found here.

All are welcome to attend the dissertation defense presentation on Dec. 10 at noon in MRC 346. Tara Allert, a doctoral candidate in counselor education and supervision, will be presenting her research entitled, “Addiction counseling self-efficacy among counseling professionals.”

Cheer on the music theatre department students as they perform their final exam assignment for their music theatre lab course on Friday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. in the LaCroix Black Box. Students will be performing a selection of duets and trios. Free admission. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks required.

This is a great way to give back to the community, especially as a study break before finals.
