Thursday, January 12, 2017

The deadline to register for the annual Celebration of Teaching and Learning is today, Jan. 16.

This wine and cheese event features faculty and adjunct instructor presentations on their experiences and practices in teaching and learning, including teaching approaches and learning outcomes, lessons learned, course redesign practices, assessment practices, cross-disciplinary teaching practices, and application of learning technologies. Members of the Viterbo library staff will also host a hands-on, interactive display showcasing the wide variety of technology, equipment, and services the library offers to enhance both teaching and learning for the duration of the event.

The event will also feature food, conversation, and door prizes. While pre-registration is appreciated, walk-ins are also welcome. The event is a partnership between the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Faculty Development. Please note that this wine and cheese event is for faculty, administrators, staff, and invited guests only.

Presenters and attendees (VU faculty and staff are both welcome) are asked to register online. Questions about the event can be sent to Cari Mathwig Ramseier, Susie Hughes, or Janet Holter.
