Healthy Living Week is back. This year’s theme is, “Try Something New!” and throughout the week, Viterbo employee and students are encouraged to do just that. Healthy Living Week programs and events for employees include:

Step Challenge – Do you think you take the most steps in a week? Want to find out? Take the challenge.
The challenge is free. Sign up at the Mathy Center. If you need a pedometer, pick one up at the Mathy Center front desk. Pedometer apps are also acceptable. You will earn prizes for each benchmark reached.
Monday, Sept. 15
Trail Mix Bar 3–5 p.m. on Franciscan Way (Rain site: Student Union). Create your own trail mix – a fun, healthy snack, and a great way to learn about SGA, River Watch, and the Friar Frolic. Sponsored by Recreational Sports, SGA, and Alumni Relations.
Tuesday, Sept. 16
Free Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Screenings from 3–5 p.m. at the Mathy Center. Sponsored by health services.
Wednesday, Sept. 17
Self Defense Class from 4–5 p.m. at the Mathy Center. Sponsored by rec sports and the Wisconsin National Guard.
Fed Up! Film Screening from 7–9 p.m. in Reinhart Center 127. Everything we’ve been told about food and exercise for the past 30 years is dead wrong. Fed Up is the film the food industry doesn’t want you to see. Sponsored by campus activities.
