JASON SCHEFF - Longtime Lead Vocalist for the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame-inducted Band Chicago
Jason Scheff joined the multi-platinum band Chicago in 1985 replacing Peter Cetera. Scheff’s lead vocals debuted on the 1986 single “25 or 6 to 4”, a remake of the band’s 1970 hit song. Scheff followed up with “Will You Still Love Me”, #3 Pop, and has sung Chicago’s live classic hits in 4 decades. 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s including “If You Leave Me Now”, “You’re The Inspiration”, “I’ve Been Searching So Long”, “Hard For Me To Say I’m Sorry”, “What Kind Of Man Would I Be”, “Hard Habit To Break” and more.
Scheff delivered a blistering performance of “25 or 6 to 4” at the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies for Chicago’s induction.
He joined an all-star lineup including Todd Rundgren, Christopher Cross, Micky Dolenz and Joey Molland of Badfinger to perform “The Beatles White Album” in the fall of 2019 and again in 2022 adding Denny Laine of Moody Blues and Wings to the tour.
Jason’s 2nd solo album “Here I Am” produced by Jay DeMarcus was released in November of 2019 and he is currently working on his 3rd with iconic music figures such as Michael Omartian, Steve Ferrone, John JR Robinson, Vinnie Colaiuta, Tim Pierce and many more. Generation Radio is a supergroup Jason put together with Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts. Their debut album is being released in the summer of 2022 featuring Deen Castronovo of Journey on lead vocals and drums, Jay Demarcus on lead vocals, keyboard, bass, and of course Jason on lead vocals and bass.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The Viterbo University Fine Arts Center’s official and exclusive ticketing partner is OvationTix. Make sure you are buying directly through our website, www.viterbo.edu/fac or OvationTix. We do not use a third-party ticket reseller/vendor. Do not purchase through unauthorized resellers, as we will not be able to guarantee entry. If you are using a search engine to find tickets, be careful. Unauthorized sites with overpriced/counterfeit/invalid tickets are often listed above official ones. If you come across an offer online/on social media for resale tickets, please be extra cautious. If there is a ticket offer–especially from someone you do not know–that seems too good to be true, it is probably fake.
